Charles Fritts, Lead Pastor

Pastor Charles grew up in the rolling hills of East Tennessee in Lenoir City. At the age of 8, during Vacation Bible School at the Sixth Avenue Church of God, he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Pastor Charles and his wife, Rosemary, now live in Franklin. They have 4 children, Will, Bethany, Samuel, and Nathanael.

Pastor Charles studied psychology and English literature at MTSU and Lee University; he earned a M.A. in Counseling from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American Psychotherapy Association, and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Pastor Charles plans to enter doctoral studies in psychology and counseling in the near future.




Pastor Charles is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God, serving the Lord and the church in fulltime ministry since 1989. His ministry has included Missionary Evangelist, Christian Education Director, College Pastor, Church Planter, Counselor, Law Enforcement Chaplain, and Senior Pastor.

When he is not working, Pastor Charles enjoys cheering for the Vols, reading a good book, and playing golf.
